The permanent team in the Honorary French Consulate in Melbourne consists of two people: the Consular Assistant Mr Jean-Paul Esnault and the Honorary Consul-General Mrs Myriam Boisbouvier-Wylie.
They are assisted by a rolling team of two interns, generally one French and one Australian, for periods of 3 to 6 months each.
From January 2012 until today, the Honorary Consulate General of France in Melbourne has welcomed 29 interns: 17 French, 10 Australians, one Canadian and one bi-national (French-Australian). These interns have provided support for administrative operations of the consulate. The interns are in charge of welcoming and assisting the public, but also communication tasks of the consulate. They are also involved with the organisation of cultural events and projects, under the supervision of Myriam Boisbouvier-Wylie.
The current interns are Amelia Ekkel from the University of Melbourne, and Judith Ollé, from Sciences Po Toulouse, who are the hidden faces behind the facebook page of the Consulate and the blog “Bleu, Blanc, Rouge”.
