It’s time to say a massive thank you to our previous interns, and welcome to the two new ones!
Jerry and Cairo were unlucky as their internsiihp fell throughthe lockdowns 5 and 6. Nevertheless, they both accompalshed remote tasks with a great enthusiasm. They were instrumental in keeping the communication alive for the “Ecncore ” of the Bastille Day French Festival… which never eventuated in the end due to the prolonged lockdown.
On Tuesday 23 November, the whole consular team had a convivial get together to pass the baton and toast each other.
The two new interns, Arthur and Lucie will now help the Honorary Consul by translating articles in this blog or animating the Facebook page. They will also assist the Consular Assistant in Melbourne, Emmanuelle Bonin, with greeting the public and various administrative tasks.
