The 2021 elections for the Councillors to the French Living Abroad took place on Sunday 30 May 2021 in person, after a period of internet voting from Friday 21 May till Wednesday 26 May.
A big thank you to Johanna Durand the General Manager of the Alliance Francaise of Melbourne who sacrificed her Sunday to be the President of the Polling Bureau in Melbourne! Thank you also to all the volunteers who came to assist, even though due to the lock down conditions in Melbourne, they were reduced to the bare minimum, with strict conditions of entry into the honorary consulate.
The results of the elections can be found here.
Congratulations to Elise Leger, Jean-Philippe Grange, Caroline Brunel, Serge Thomann and Valerie Villiere, the newly elected Councillors to the French living in Australia, Fiji and Papua New Guinea!
Congratulations also to Philippe Lesage who has been designated as a Delegate to the Assembly of French Citizens Abroad.
We are pleased to see two Melbournians in these reults: Serge and Philippe 🙂
