A new formula for the French Trade Commission : Business France

Previously named Ubifrance, the French Trade Commission is now known under the name “Business France“, located in Sydney. François Cotier is the head of a team of 11 members.

Business France caters to French companies wanting to invest in Australia, New Zealand and soon Papua New Guinea.

It has developped the Volontariat International en Entreprises (VIE, Volunteer Program for Young Professionals). This program allows French-based companies to hire young professionals (younger than 28) to go and work in Australia for a period varying between 6 and 24 months.

A special visa has been created to allow this volunteer program : Visa 403. At the moment, they are approximately 90 VIE in Australia.
