Did you go to the Melbourne’s White Nights Reimagined last week-end?
It was a festival of lights, colours, art, food and music in the streets and monuments of Melbourne, under the artistic direction of David Atkins. This year, White Nights have been reimagined and they took place during three nights between Thursday the 22th and Sunday the 25th August, instead of one night during summer.
Animations were handled in Birrarung Marr, Carlton Gardens,Treasury Gardens, as well as in some of the most famous cultural instutions of Melbourne, such as NGV or SLV, which stayed opened late for this event.
White Nights originally come from Paris in France, where they were created in 2002; they were imported in 2013 to Melbourne, which became the first Australian city to hold it.
