Join Louisa Deasey’s campain to raise money to fund the publication and digitisation of her father’s (Denison Deasey) personal memoirs – recently uncovered in the archives of the State Library of Victoria.
Set in post-WWII Paris, London and Melbourne between 1946 and 1955, this unique, intimate manuscript is of immense historical value. It uncovers a part of French-Australian connections and the particular journeys of Australian artists who made their way to France in the 10 years after the Second World War.
The manuscript needs research, transcription, and in some places, translation, before it can be presented to a publisher.
