The French team touched down in Melbourne for the first time to prove that Australian football has become an increasingly popular sport in France. Supporters were invited to cheer on the players last Sunday at the first match against their English neighbours. Despite putting up a good fight against their English opponents, the French team was unsuccessul, losing the first match at Melbourne’s Royal Park.

Nevertheless, they will have another go this coming Saturday… . It would be great to have as many supporters there as possible to encourage the players in their contests against Indonesia:
