Support for French Associations Abroad (STAFE) – Call for Projects 2025

French grants are available for French community projects in Australia!

STAFE is a subsidy scheme run by the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs to support projects run by associations abroad in the educational, charitable, cultural or socio-economic fields and which contribute to the support of French people abroad.

For the STAFE 2025 campaign, particular emphasis is being paid to projects from associations aiming to raise awareness in the French community about ecology and climate risks, gender equality and women’s rights, and promoting the practice of sport.

Eligibility

To qualify for a grant, your association must carry out projects of a charitable, cultural, educational or socio-economic nature that contribute to France’s influence and support French people abroad.

When and how do I submit an application?

All applicants must first request an application form from the French Consulate in Sydney, by emailing social.sydney-fslt@diplomatie.gouv.fr, no later than 18 October 2024.

The grant application obtained from the consulate must be returned no later than 25 October 2024 and must include the following elements:

  3. The completed application form (5 tabs).
  4. If applicable, a usage report if the association has already received a STAFE grant for a previous project.
  5. Any documents produced by the association to support and justify the relevance of the application.
