The French Australian Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with ENGIE, organised a breakfast on Wednesday May 8 with Patrick Suckling, the Australian Ambassador for the Environment. Ambassador Suckling shared his experience in representing Australia during the negotiations on the Paris Climate Aggrement and their implications for the Australian economy.

The Paris Agreement sets in place a durable and dynamic framework for all countries to take climate action from 2020, building on existing international efforts. Australia has committed to help achieve the goals of the Paris Agreement by supporting the global low emissions, climate resilient economic transition.
