On September 25,  the Melbourne Salon, in collaboration with the Alliance Francaise de Melbourne, organised a presentation on masculinity during the French revolution.

The representations of masculinity in literary texts dating back to 1789 was the main focus of an insightful and engaging presentation, linking to the current debates in our modern society..

The conference was delivered by Jean- Marie Roulin, Professor from the University of Lyon, and was followed by a disscusion led by Professor Véronique Duché from the University of Melbourne.
