After Glen Eira College’s participation to the Bastille Day French Festival on Sunday the 19th of July, performing dances to the tunes of French and Kanak music as well as poetry recitation…

The school kept its promotion of French culture and welcomed in Melbourne its sister school from New Caledonia. The 24 students and 2 teachers from Dumbea sur Mer were all very excited. The students participated in school activities and enjoyed a taste of the school life in Melbourne. They participated in two lessons on WWI and Aboriginal stone painting and had a great time during an excursion at Healesville.

Glen Eira College students look forward to more exciting adventures with their sister school in the years to come.
