French Fête at Camberwell Primary School!

On Saturday 3rd of March, families had a beautiful, sunny day out at the annual Camberwell Primary School French Fête. The Fete was coloured French; blue, white and red, to highlight the school’s bilingual program.

The festivities commenced at 11 o’clock with the official opening by the Honorary Consul General of France in Melbourne, Myriam Boisbouvier-Wylie, and Member of Parliament, the Honorable John Pesutto, under the watchful eye of Principal, Ms Janet Gale. This was followed by a string of performances by the school children, whose French songs learnt in class charmed the audience. It was a lovely day out for the local community of Camberwell!
