On Friday, the 24th of July, from 12.00 noon to 3.00pm, The French Australian Chamber of Commerce invites you to its 2015 Europcar Tour de France Lunch, at The Peninsula in the Docklands.
Launched in 2003 to celebrate “La Grande Boucle”, the Tour de France is a renowned event among the corporate sector and Melbourne’s cycling tribe, with more than 700 guests attending the Lunch every year. Full of “Joie de Vivre” and entertaining cycling anecdotes from special guests, great entertainment, fabulous food and French wines, it is easy to understand why the event appeals to so many people !
The event will take place during the ultimate climbing stage of the Tour in the Alpes, two days before the arrivals on the Champs Elysées in Paris. The most exciting part of the Tour ! You will have the chance to hear celebrity chef Gabriel Gaté, taste some of the gastronomic specialities specially prepared by a French Chef, as well as wines and cheese of the French regions through which the peloton will travel.
