On Wednesday September 11th, the Honorary Consulate General of Melbourne hosted a ceremony to honour seven new French Nationals, in presence of the Consul General of France, Ms. Anne Boillon.

Ms. Anne Boillon, gave the certificate of French nationality to the new French citizens and everybody sang the National French Anthem “La Marseillaise” in unison.

At the end of the ceremony, families took photos with both consuls as a souvenir. They also toasted the new French citizens with a glass of champagne.
