On Thursday, April 16, 2015, Honorary Consul General Myriam Boisbouvier-Wylie presented World War Two Veteran Keith Stevens with the insignia of the Knight of the Legion of Honour in an intimate ceremony in his retirement home. Keith had not been able to attend the ceremony held at the consulate on February 25th with the other four Veterans, as he was unwell that day.

During the ceremony, Myriam Boisbouvier-Wylie paid tribute to Keith Stevens, recognizing his courage and sacrifice during the War. She used the same words as those of the Ambassador to show the French Republic’s gratitude for Keith Stevens as a war time hero and to commemorate his participation in the liberation of France. After being decorated with the distinguished insignia,  Mr. Stevens delivered a heartwarming speech of thanks.
