French Apéro for Capitaine de Vaisseau Petitdidier

A French “apéro” was held at the Honorary Consulate of France on Thursday 30 May, on the occasion of the visit to Melbourne of French Navy Captain (Capitaine de Vaisseau) Phillipe Petitdidier, Defence Attaché to the French Embassy in Australia.

The Hon. Ted Baillieu, Ms. Susan Coles, The Hon. Robin Scott, Veteran McPherson, Capitaine Petitdidier, Ms.Jenny Cotton, Cder Furlonger, Ms. Myriam Boisbouvier-Wylie, Mrs Danièle Kemp.

It was a nice occasion to include various members of the defence forces as well as members of the community. Among the dignitaries present were The Hon. Robin Scott, MP Victorian Minister for Veterans Affairs, The Hon. Ted Baillieu former Victorian Premier and Chair of the Victorian Anzac Centenary Committee, Gerald McPherson World War II Veteran, Ms. Susan Coles, Director of DFAT, Ms.Jenny CottonDVA Deputy Commissioner in Victoria and Commander Furlonger of the Royal Australian Navy.
