On Wednesday 10 September, the Honorary Consulate General of France in Melbourne welcomed His Excellency Mr. Christophe Lecourtier, Ambassador of France in Australia, to a reception attended by representatives and actors of the French Community.

Over a tasting of French wines, Mr Lecourtier talked about the forthcoming visit of the French President in Australia, the first official visit of a French President !, and about his vision for France in Australia.

We would like to extend our best wishes to our new Ambassador of France in Australia and reaffirm our support for all his projects.
