Don’t miss a beautiful Organist and Tenor concert on Tuesday, 19 February at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, featuring two talented French performers: Organist Johann Vexo (former Choir Organist of Notre-Dame Cathedral, Paris) and Tenor Damien Rivière.
The concert starts at 6:30 pm.Tickets are $20 with children under 15 free.
Johann Vexo was born in 1978 in the northeastern French city of Nancy. At the age of 25, he was appointed Choir Organist of Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris. Now a Professor of Organ, Johann teaches at various prestigious institutions worldwide including the European Music Summer Academy, Rice University in Houston, the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, Westminster Choir College in Princeton and Aveiro University (Portugal).
Damien Rivière studied music at the Maîtrise Notre-Dame de Paris. Damien Rivière is also theatre-trained and a classical tenor. He regularly performs in services at Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris.
