Jessica Rougeot, an Australian-born teacher of French with 10 years of experience, has just launched her private French tutoring business.

After completing her Arts Degree at Monash University, Jessica travelled to New Caledonia, where she worked as an English assistant for seven months at Lycée Professionnel Commercial et Hôtelier Auguste Escoffier, and it was there that she discovered her passion for language teaching. Since then, her teaching career took off ! Having married a Frenchman, she lived for a while in France before returning to Melbourne Grammar School where she taught Year 12 students at VCE level for six years.

Now a mother of two, Jessica started up her private tutoring business, and works with students from Year 9 to Year 12 on preparing them for their (VCE) examinations and developing a rich vocabulary to aid with written expression.
