Innovation in Urban Green Spaces – World Urban Park Congress in Melbourne

Are you interested in Urban Green Spaces? What does the future hold and how will we respond?

From the 14th till the 17th of October, Melbourne will host the World Urban Parks Congress in partnership with Parks and Leisure Australia.

More than 600 professionals, institutions and representatives of local authorities from all around the world are expected for this congress. It aims at sharing feedback on the practices of management and planning of green spaces in the city as well as sharing knowledge on the value of these spaces. ecologically, socially and economically.

The French technical center, Plante & Cité, recognized by the Ministries of Ecology and Agriculture and by the interprofession of horticulture and landscape, will be present as well, via two telecommunications, to promote the innovative practices of French local authorities (‘The pesticide-free cities trend: creative ways to healthier landscapes’ and ‘Nature Based Solutions for healthier cities’).
