In September 2018, The Melbourne French Theatre will be putting on a new play, Love is better in the afternoon – C’est encore mieux l’après-midi. It’s based on Two into One by Ray Cooney adapted by Jean Poiret.  The representations will be held at  La Maison de Maître in Carlton.

The play recounts the forbidden affair between Richard Marchelier, a Government Minister, and a secretary of the Opposition. Things become particularly difficult when Richard’s wife shows up in the same hotel…

The farce is performed entirely in French with English subtitles and will be on show for 2 weeks in September from Thursday, 6 September 2018. You will be able to find all the information about the play here
