On the lookout for volunteers! The French Billingual Association is in search of a new treasurer as well as a supervisor for its Playgroup.

The French Bilingual Association, a non-profit organisation based in North Fitzroy, promotes English-French bilingualism through a wide range of school activities and social events for the French-speaking community. The French Bilingual Association actively represents 167 families and 220 children, and is currently working on creating a bilingual programme for public primary schools in the North-Western suburbs.

Their Playgroup is held every second Saturday from 9.30am to 11am at the Holden St Neighbourhood house in North Fitzroy. It is a great opportunity for the children to be immersed in the French language as they play games, read stories and sing along. Parents and carers enjoy meeting other French speakers while sharing a coffee. It is therefore a wonderful moment for everybody !
