The Glen Eira College French Week was held from the 18th to the 26th of March.

The week coincided with the International Day of Francophonie, which takes place on the 20th of March each year. In that context, the students participated in an international competition called “Dis moi 10 mots” (Say 10 words to me). The students worked together on collaborative projects for this competition. They created board games, videos, stories and poems, all inspired by their creativity and the ten words of the competition.

During the week, there was a French cake sale and games of petanque (a traditional French sport). There was also the opportunity for students to chat to each other in French, to play French board games and to sing the French national anthem, la Marseillaise.
