In order to vote in the 2017 elections (presidential and parliementary), you must be registered on the French electoral roll. If you have not already done so, you can register up until 31 December 2016.
There are three possible ways to register:
- through the service-public website if your municipality is linked to this service (4 836 municipalities are linked);
- by correspondance by sending a photocopy of a recent piece of identity and proof of residence, as well as the registration request form (filled out);
- or through your local Town Hall by presenting a recent piece of identity, proof of residence, and the registration request form (filled out).
