More than 40 business executives from top French companies visited Melbourne on 16 March 2016.

The MEDEF delegation, led by Mr Guillaume Pepy, head of the France Australia Business Council and president of the French national railway company SNCF, was keen to showcase France’s innovative capacities in areas such as infrastructures, agribusiness, services, high tech industries and health.

After a morning session with the Group of Eight leading Universities of Australia, the MEDEF met with the Treasurer of Victoria, the Hon. Tim Pallas who talked about the intensification of the bilateral economic relationship between France and Australia.
