Diplomatic ties between France and Australia are very strong, as witnessed by recent visits at the highest level of Government, between our two countries.

Just recently, the Australian Ambassador to France, His Excellency Mr Stephen Brady came to Melbourne for mid-term consultations. On the occasion of his visit, The Governor of Victoria, the Hon. Linda Dessau organised a lovely dinner at Government House.

In March 2016, French Prime Minister Manuel Valls will also come to Australia, which is very exciting for the French community.
