Visit to Melbourne of the newly appointed Consul General of France

On Thursday the 8th of October, the newly appointed Consul General of France in Sydney, Mr Nicolas Croizer, came to Melbourne in order to meet the French Community in Victoria. He was guided by Mrs Myriam Boisbouvier-Wylie, Honorary Consul General of France in Melbourne.

They spent the morning visiting Caufield Junior College with its bi-national program (Ecole Française de Melbourne), and meeting students, teachers and parents.

Then, the Consul General met the Presidents of the French Associations in Victoria at a lunch that he hosted at the Honorary Consulate General of France.

Mr Croizer then visited the Alliance Francaise of Melbourne with Mr Michel Richard, newly appointed Director of the Alliance Francaise, before heading to SBS Radio for an interview with Mr Jean-Noel Ducasse.

To conclude the busy day, Mr Croizer was able to greet and meet the broader French Community in Victoria at a cocktail reception hosted by the Honorary Consul General of France in Melbourne, Mrs Myriam Boisbouvier-Wylie .
