Anzac Day in Melbourne

As every year, Anzac Day is celebrated throughout Australia. Melbourne was no exception, offering a beautiful tribute ceremony on Thursday, April 25, 2024.

Anzac Day commemorates the Battle of Gallipoli in the Turkish Dardanelles, which, though ending in defeat and terrible human losses, became part of the legend of the ANZACs, those Australian and New Zealand soldiers from the opposite side of the world who showed unprecedented courage and bravery on the battlefield.
