On Monday 11 September, the two interns of the Honorary Consulate of France, Claire and Emma, went to Altona to visit Toyota’s hydrogen education center, .

This gathering, hosted by the Japanese Consulate, brought together members of Melbourne’s consular corps. The day provided a valuable opportunity to learn more about hydrogen-related automotive innovations, while addressing the economic, technological and environmental challenges related to this field.

The day began with a visit to the Hydrogen Energy Education Center with the center’s engineers. Emma and Claire then had the opportunity to test drive the new hydrogen-powered cars, and explore other electric and hybrid vehicles. Such an amazing innovation!
