On Wednesday, the 25th of March, the Camberwell community was invited to celebrate Principal Helen Warnod‘s career at Camberwell Primary School. Helen retired this year after 24 years at Camberwell Primary School. She taught as a prep teacher and bilingual coordinator before serving as principal, and she was instrumental in establishing the school’s bilingual program.

Camberwell Primary School is Victoria’s first French-English bilingual government school, and offers the state’s most extensive bilingual immersion program, in a variety of subjects such as language arts, mathematics and science.

We wish Helen all the best in her retirement!
