FACCI Webinar Recap: ‘Hydrogen in the Australian Energy Mix and its Capabilities’

As COP26 continues to be underway, the discussion of hydrogen as an alternative energy becomes evermore relevant in the talks of sustainable energy investments.

Recently, the French-Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FACCI) held its Business Days that focussed on sustainability.

In Victoria, FACCI hosted  a session dedicated to hydrogen and welcomed distinguished guests including Dr Alan Finkel, Special Adviser to the Australian Government on Low Emissions Technology, Augustin Honorat, CEO, ENGIE, Frank De Pasquale, CO2 & H2 Business Unit Manager, Air Liquide and Alan de Reuck, Director Strategic Projects, Alstom, under the moderation of Joan Mcgovern,  Director and Founder of 123V.

The panellists addressed Hydrogen’s recent rise as well as questions that surround its implementation such as: Is Hydrogen the fuel of the future? Is Australia Hydrogen ready? Can we capitalise on existing international technical expertise?

 

 

 

 

 

 

The FACCI Business Days saw around 900 participants mainly from Australia, New Zealand and France who attended keynote addresses, interviews and conferences presented by 116 international speakers, as well as site visits, C-Suite rendezvous and networking events offered across the country.
