Following the Australian Government’s recent announcement that international travel is expected to return at the end of the 2021, the Embassy of France in Australia is offering to students studying French or from a francophone background to partake in various opportunities available in 2022.

Nicolas Baudin Travel Grant

Students undertaking commencing tertiary study in French (degree or exchange program) are eligible to apply to the Nicolas Baudin Travel Grant of AUD$2500 to cover travel costs.

France Alumni Student Ambassadorship

Students who have already completed a study program at a French university, or French students currently living here, are invited to apply to represent the France Alumni community. Proactivity, leadership and networking skills are preferable !

New Caledonia Assistant-Teaching Position

This program is designed to give students (Australian citizens and permanent residents) the opportunity to discover a new region and culture by working alongside an English teacher in a French school environment. It is not aimed at experienced teachers, and whether or not students intend to become language teachers, it is a fantastic opportunity to gain seven months of international professional experience.
