Monégasques and people from the Côte d’Azur will now be able to experience the beauty of the Great Barrier Reef without travelling to Australia, thanks to the interactive exhibition, Immersion hosted by the Musée océanographique de Monaco. Through a multimedia experience, visitors are virtually plunged into the Great Barrier Reef, with 9 meter high projection walls simulating the hive of activity at the heart of this natural wonder.

Through the exhibition, the museum hopes to both engage visitors and raise public awareness about much-needed protection of the marine world. We congratulate the Musée océanographique de Monaco in attracting the French public’s attention to the beauty and fragility of the Great Barrier Reef’s ecosystem.
