When Melbourne-born Jacqui Howard was in her teens, she loved both French and classical music. In 1987, her mum took her to see “Les Arts Florissants”, a musical ensemble based in Caen, France when they ensemble came to Melbourne . Many years later, after completed her music studies, Jacqui applied for a job with the very same musical ensemble that had amazed her some years before and went on to live in France.

The story has now come full circle as Jacqui, Director of Programing, has now brought the ensemble back to Melbourne: Les Arts Florissants comes to Melbourne on March 9th and 10th  ( see previous article).: !
